    Default A few stats from SCCA Event #8 at TMS Road Course - 10/17/2010

    All numbers below are approximates:

    Cones Hit:
    Heat 1 - 161
    Heat 2 - 144
    Heat 3 - 156
    Total = 461

    DNF's:
    Total = 71

    Total Runs for the day = 543

    Only 3 people made all 5 runs and hit no cones or dnf'd, and they are Brad Maxcy, Mick Harrison and Ashley Haag!

    Phil Penner only got 2 runs and both were clean. Everyone else hit at least 1 cone or dnf'd a run. It looks like Phil Adams got the most with a grand total of 16 cones.

    What was the cone count for the folks in Xpro on the 4th & 5th runs? There was one run where I felt like I hit every key cone. Poor corner workers...

    It's good if you're fast.... of course the alternative is guaranteed to not be fast, so I'd say it's good.

    Is there a special award for using a Z06 as a weed whacker? Not one of my finer moments.... and in case anyone was wondering, because the windows were open the inside of the car filled up with dust and grass clippings too. (hangs his head in shame)

    It was a rockin' run right up to that point. Jim Harris said he was working nearby and watched me come through the section before the dog leg. "He's not going to make it; he's not going to make it; Nope. Didn't make it."
    A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .

    The total count listed above included those cones hit and not shown when they were DSQ'd on those runs. As for an actual count, I believe these are the cones and which runs they were on.

    84 XSS DNF 4th run
    194 XASP 1 cone 5th run
    27 XBSP 1 cone 4th run
    184 XSS 1 cone 4th run
    91 XST 2 cones and a DNF
    84 XSS 1 cone 5th run
    189 XFM 2 cones 5th run
    184 XSS 3 cones 5th run

    D. Ensure that the appearance of each automobile is neat and clean.
    Automobiles that are not presentable will not be allowed to compete.

    Actually, the owner probably didn't notice.
