Does this make much of a difference on a stockish engine? I had an issue last autocross with my clutch slipping badly after a few runs. After debating it logically for awhile I've come to the conclusion that as well as probably bad technique, I may have been trying to shift too fast and the hydraulics line may be sloppy due to old lines/old fluid or whatever causing the clutch to engage a hair late. I plan to flush the fluid when I get a chance. If you think this might help my problem as well then you've got a buyer.

1.8 engine with a 1.6 oem budget clutch on 1.6 7lb fidanza flywheel BTW. Clutch is 6 months old. Let me know.

It replaces the rubber line that can expand a little with age, making for more precise hydraulic effort. Same principle as with the rubber brake lines that get replaced with SS braided lines-prevents the line from expanding under pressure so that all of your pedal effort goes where it is suppose to. Whether this item will help your clutch problem, I don't know for sure, but it certainly won't hurt it.

Is this the straight shot line? If so I'll take it.

Not sure what you mean by "straight shot".

I think he means the line that replaces the curly hard line as well as the rubber, vs the short line that only replaces the rubber.
