NTAXS Autocross #6, 11/18/12, Dallas Raceway

Clubs like NTAXS make autocross fun. The attendance shows. Thanks to all that made these autocrosses happen and I'm already looking forward to 2013. Had a great time driving a mostly stock S2000 today for my morning runs. I now realize how spoiled I am with the KW's on my car.

Thanks to everyone who works hard at these events, in addition to the regular "crew", there are a regulars who are always willing to do whatever job needs filling, glamorous or not. You make my job a lot more fun and are the real secret to NTAXS' success. It goes without saying that Jerrett is the engine that makes things run, but Lorin, Robert, Leilane and Mick are always on site at sunrise setting up.

Another great course today; I was pretty skeptical about the very tight turns in the middle, but it ended up driving terrifically, with several awesome risk/reward elements. I had a ton of fun driving it against some serious competition. I hope my experiment with purple crack isn't too addictive, but thanks to KB for letting me try it! What a rush.

+2 on the thanks to the gang that puts on the show... Had a blast today! (Except for one cone on my 3rd run this afternoon)

Mike, you may thank him now for the sample of the purple stuff, but just wait until you go back to your normal tires and you wonder why the just don't grip the same as they use to... Then it is just down hill from there...

I really enjoyed my first NTAXS event! Challenging course, tire friendly surface, nice people, good weather. Had a blast mixing it up with everyone in class 2. I can't think of a better way to spend a day, and I look forward to doing more next year.

A beautiful day and another great NTAXS event. These events really are some of the best in the area. Kudos to Jerrett, Mike, Mick, Leilane, and everyone else who helps put them together!

Crandall really is an awesome site. Love the surface and the available course area, and being able to view the course form the top of the grandstands really helped me plan out my runs.

Just FYI for future events though - the snack stand does NOT take plastic, so plan accordingly.

It was a great day! It was fun switching cars with my Nemesis to compare the two cars to each other. I was rather surprised by the difference between the two. Mine needs more cheater parts.

Then finished up the day with an epic spin in my own car to end the season.....

Looks like automax caught me in the act...


Stupid Jimmy and Leilanie do a great job putting these NTAXS events together, yes they do get help from many of us. But these events wouldn't happen without the shoddy leadership these two provide!

We're very fortunate to have so many great local clubs. I'm glad Dallas Raceway is on the schedule for next year!
