My point exactly. The Subota can easily hang with an NC even on Prius rubber. That chassis has a much greater upside than a Miata.
Since virtually nobody here is planning to keep either one bone stock, I don't think its much of a gap at all. And stock-for-stock, the Subota comes with prius tires. I've driven both, and its pretty tough to call one a winner...so far.
While they are definitely competitors, its still a roadster vs a 4-seater coupe. I know there are a few folks here that don't ever drop the top, but they are a minority. I can't think of the Subota without missign the vert.

The BRZ is not a 4-seater. I dont care what the brochure says. It has a rear cargo area with seat belts.

I'm not Miata bashing...
All comparos I've read put the BRZ slightly ahead of a stock NC in terms of acceleration and track times. And it's doing that on crap Prius rubber. Put both cars on sticky rubber and I'm willing to wager the BRZ benefits more.
And I have not read a single review that calls the BRZ chassis anything other than brilliant and composed, and ready for more HP. As lovely as our Miatas are, they're just not as stiff as the BRZ.
