You kiddin' me? Rotary engines are a maintenance item. We don't have timing belts, so we just replace the whole engine every 60,000 miles.Touche, but his engine won't have to be rebuilt at 80,000 miles.

As for transmissions, I've never blown one up in a Mazda... but my Prelude got a new one at 28k and my Accord got one earlier this spring at 75k.

Yeah, I can see the different sides, but I'm not going to sit and argue about it. I might if somebody is paying me toI know... I just felt like going after you with a spoon.
I have read many pages of internet debates on that subject over the last few years. They only thing I have really learned is that I hold a little bit of pitty for everyone who feels that they have to argue the topic to death.

Because if you get a job in the US, there's a good chance you won't be using metric. I work for a Swedish company, and all of our rigs are designed in the good ol' IPS (inch/pounds/seconds) system.

It's just aggravating spending $65 on supplies and having to go spend another $20 that you didn't know about. I don't mind using IPS, but it really sucks when they tell you to buy one scale and the problems aren't in that scale.
