It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton

oops... sorry... wrong points. No insurance points for simple speeding (i.e., not in conjunction with wreckless driving)... No license points for speeding less than 10% over the posted limit.

You can also call the local municipality and talk to someone to see if you can get deferred adjudication before ya need to hire some snake in the grass Honda driving attorney. I was able to to do it without a Lawyer.

Deferred tickets don't count against your "points", either.

Every offense except for (1) simple speeding and (2) operating a motor vehicle while drinking an alcoholic beverage (not the same thing necessarily as DWI) is a jailable offense because the cop has the option of either (a) writing you a citation or (b) putting you in jail until you can be brought before a magistrate which, in Texas, means up to 72 hours. Happy, kids?

    Nope!

I do feel that one of us needs to convey to Titus how disappointed we are that he broke the Law today, and how this type of behavior is unacceptable. You are a bad man.......

ive used byno and byno in bedford a few times. they helped out ALOT. it was like, $65 per ticket. adams had good luck with no front plate tickets. last oct i got one. they wouldnt dismiss and MADE me fight it on court. too bad they set it 4 months later clear into next yer when i forgot about the dadgum thing. anyways, to make you feel better, my no front plate is gonna cost me about $275 now... well, once i decide i dont wanna be paranoid driving anymore...

Has anyone tried a swing away front plate? The DPS website says that the law does not say how the plates must be mounted.

I had a swinging front plate that I just recently removed. I got a warning the only time I was pulled over for it.

The thing is it was visible when stopped. I bet the law states it must be visible at all times.
