All those updates are old, so I'd assume the car is finished.
It has a 911 front end conversion, and misc other 911 parts, maybe that's just his way of naming the car.... I would think that if he had a "real" 911, he would have it up on his site as well (he seems to have everything else up on his site).

Just restating what he had on his site about the car when he bought it.He called it a 911 so forgive those of us who assumed he actually had a 911. BTW that's a 914 front end, not a 911 front end.
He also had a $45,000 Lotus till it bounced off the floor...............
The car is Summer Yellow, with black velour inserts and charcoal loop carpeting.
The previous owner installed a 911 Carrera front end, and added 4 to 5 bolt adapters in the rear.

I also found the Lotus guys coment about the 911 strange, maybe it was his way of trying to put a positive spin on what had to be a really bad day.....

I agree, that is one nice garage.914/6 models used a similar suspension and brakes to the 911, giving the car handling and braking superiority over the 4-cylinder Volkswagen models in addition to higher power output.

Are all insurance companies required to pay "disminshed value"? Year before last when some stupid Axx Hxxx back up at the stop light and crunch my front end. I asked and the insurance company refused to pay!
