Traditional comps, no. That is why it will be so easy to spot the realtor that did no homework. A good realtor will widen the search outside of your community, finding similar developments in similar setting around the metroplex.

    I can suggest a realtor:

    Brooke S. Hunt
    The Hunt Group
    Ebby Halliday, REALTORS
    Southlake Office
    817-410-5477
    [email protected]

Brooke and her husband Michael (also a realtor with Ebby and the Hunt Group) handled both ends of our recent housing transaction – sale in N. Richland Hills and purchase in Murphy. They are based out of Southlake, but they will handle almost anything in the metroplex.

More importantly, Brooke also handled the sale of my parent’s multi-acre property in Colleyville a couple of years ago, as well as a family friend’s house on the south shore of Lake Grapevine. You think yours was odd? This one was over 5000 sq. ft., and three stories tall, but only had three bedrooms. She worked with us on our recent move, but her specialty is higher end ($500k+) properties.

Brooke does her homework, and is available literally 24/7 to help you. We routinely got emails from her that were time stamped 1 and 2 am. She was on vacation when we decided to make an offer on the home we bought, and she coordinated most of the offer/counteroffer process from the right seat of her Grand Cherokee by laptop in the middle of the New Mexico desert!

I'm up for a road trip!. Lets include a Granbury run and we can see how many will fit. It would be a great photo. You want to lead Merv?

I've got to clear out the rest of the stuff, which should take another couple of weeks. I bring a load home everytime I go now. Maybe then.....

You have built a beautiful house Merv. If I wasn't in North Carolina it would be very tempting.

Thank you. I'm a bit proud of it, even if it took me fifteen years!
