Anybody have experience doing the 60k service on an NB?

Did mine last Nov. Front seal, cam seals, TB, WP, Thermostat, all belts and all hoses (the ones on the oil cooler are a pain). I got all my stuff from Track Dog (sponsored Miatas @ Hallett) with quick shipping.

Might as well do an oil change and replace the plugs and wires at the same time.

Why not just start a list

water pump
2 wp gaskets
timing belt
timing belt idler
timing belt tensioner, check spring
front main crank seal
cam seals
two main belts
cam cover gasket
cam cover RTV
thermostat
thermostat gasket
remove thermostat jiggle valve
plugs and wires?
check the elusive bolt for the a/c bracket that tends to leak(if applicable)
clean idle air passage


Simple list is simple.

Thanks for all the valuable info guys. I was planning on getting all the parts from Rosenthal. I just ordered the parts to rebuild my shifter from them and it was a really easy and quick transaction.

I'm looking forward to working on the car more so I definitely would like to tackle this job. If some others are looking to do some installs we can certainly get together and use my garage. It's just a 2 car garage but I would be happy to accommodate.
