Ok I want one more track day before winter temps and no traction. I was considering one of the two MSR events upcoming but now....??

Would be cool to see some of the south texas drivers.

And I have about a bazillion laps on it (the track) as well).
It seems that the intake, header, and exhaust really opened up that sucker. It is flying! great driving and Hoosiers, don't hurt either ! Very nice consistent lines and smoothness really rewards ya with great laps.

How did you like TWS? What kind of lap times were you turning there?
    Thanks,
    Merv

Thanks for the kind words :) I've never had this car at TWS believe it or not - I'm hoping for a sub 2 minute run on Friday and would love to crack into the 1:58.xx range (counterclockwise).

The weather forecast is looking a little bit better today. I really want to get down there and play.

I think that is very doable as strong as it pulls. I've run some 2:01's in my 96 SM several years ago, so the extra power and the Hoosier's shouldbe worth 3-4 seconds. It is a horsepower track for the most part. Can't wait to hear how you do. If I wasn't going to be in Kentucky, I'd come down just to see it happen :)

I'm out unfortunately. Personal shit is getting in the way of my track habit and I'm seriously pissed off about this crap.

...and I was just about to offer you a bed 10 minutes away. Oh well. I got no business going out there with my F150. I might try to see about going down and hanging out for a day.

    Email Sondra:
As for tech requirements, if you want to email me at lonestarsondra AT gmail DOT com, I'd be happy to send the tech sheet to you. Convertibles need to have structural roll protection or aftermarket roll bar.
