You get me thinking!Does it has a LSD?
One of my cousins deals in wrecked cars, and since I'm the family Miata Dork, he sent me info on this one. I haven't seen it in person, but he says it runs and drives great and everything works. It's got just over 14K miles on the clock, a clean title (not salvaged), and he's asking $13,500. His company bought it from the owner, who settled with the insurance company and decided to sell it rather than fix it. If you're interested, let me know and I'll pass you on to him...

I think that's actually a Grand Touring, but I could be mistaken. Its got the updated forged internals motor and the uprated 6MT, plus they redesigned the front hubs to lower the roll center a little. Also has a billion-times-better interior. Good deal if you have a body shop. I'd guess $3-4K to properly fix and paint it, assuming no rear suspension damage.

You need to look at the suspension to determine the LSD.

Looks like a great deal, IMHO.

Hey, thats my car! I guess I should have just posted it up here before selling it to Prestige.
Yeah it's a Grand Touring, pretty much every option available, I got it last year with 3,000 miles on it, got rear ended on my way to work.

Are the Ohlins still on it?

So how much do you kids think it would cost to fix it??
I'm still saying $3-4K, figuring a new bumper cover, taillight, patch panel and interior plastic. Also assuming no rear suspension damage. I'm sure it could be done closer to $2k, but I'd want everything done as close to as-new on a car that new. For a track-only car, I wouldn't fix it at ll, just bend it out anapseap a new tail light in there.

They're still waiting on the title, so I'll let you know when I hear back on that...

Writing a very simple basic estimate based on the pics (and using new parts) I come up with @ $3500........that is not including any frame time to pull the damage before the quarter panel and rear panel are replaced along with other misc shop charges and hidden damages............that would be a $5 to $6k repair if you dropped it off at a shop and said "fix it".
Looking kinda pricey when you do the math...

Speedracer,
I agree; undamaged '07-'10 NCs on CL go for 10-12K. We'll wait and see how this shakes out.
