I say shoot what you have they will make more later. I need more 556 it's hard to collect much at 20 per box one box at a time.

Stoopid prices at the gun show last weekend. I only saw 5 bricks of 22LR and they were priced from $75 to $125. Yes, the same stuff could have gotten at Academy for $17. Insane.

I bought several thousand rounds right before the panic hit.

What did you pay? Looks like I've been paying around 28 cents for 9mm, 43 cents for 45 and 45 cents for 556 FMJ.

By the way are there any good places in DFW that have at least 50 yard outdoor rifle ranges where you can shoot FMJ?

6.8c a round for CCI MiniMags from Palmetto State Armory. I was lucky enough to be stocked up by the end of last year, so the panic hasn't really affected me.

I haven't found a really good outdoor range in DFW. I drive down to Best of the West north of Austin for rifle shooting... I love Shoot Smart for indoor though.

The only bricks I saw were 22 short and two single bricks of bulk Federal 525s for .... .... $249.95 PER BOX!

Wow I should have bought that brick of 500 22LR for 17 and flipped it.

The picture of you in the shades and beard creeped me out.

Get your CHL and join the private range I belong to... 300 y range, everything but tannerite and tracers are welcome. Rapid fire, etc. No other "don't know what they're doing" douchenozzles to deal with either.

Of course, you get to drive to Greenville, which is a haul... but make a day of it

I heard tracer rounds were permitted at DFW Gun Range.

    too soon?

CHL is almost done, just waiting to mail hopefully in a week or two. How much is the private range? How far is Greenville?

Ouch, I'm sure they will rebuild though. I hope that guy gets charged with Arson.
