    He should go to Ferrari and see if they could help out on the next one. They could give him the blueprints so at least half of the reverse engineering would be done. I can barely believe he also made a working 5 speed tranny.

    If one was going to that much trouble to machine all thoseparts, why not make them full scale? AWESOME!

    I thought this was a repost, but I can't find it.... I guess I saw it posted on another forum. Anyway, it really takes obsession to a whole other level.

    Yeah... this guy is off the scale on the geek meter... hand building a 1 liter, 12 cylinder motor AND the 5 speed gear box (with reverse)...

    You could tell Jeremy (the host) was just speechless...

    The video made the rounds back in about 1999 - but the quality of the copy I have sucked. This is much better. That thing is amazing.
