Thanks. I have the Haynes manual, Enthusiast's Manual, Factory Manual, Keith Tanner's Performance Projects.

Any other advice? Extra things I'll need? Special tools? What kind of grease to grease the clutch fork and shaft? Will wheel bearing grease work?

I'm told it isn't a necessity. A regular jack and brute strength will suffice.

OK... I'll take pictures. I wish we had pictures of Kags using that method way back when. Good times!

We used a regular jack when we did Bean's. You'll need two high lift jacks (one to raise the engine, one to support the tranny), and some rope - something you would trust to support a 100-lb weight suspended above your head.

I have one jack and I'm sure Titus has a jack. No rope but I have nylon tie downs.

I have a jack, and an engine hoist that may be of some use.

Basically, you want something that you can snake through the shifter hole and sling around the transmission to support it. It made the job easier for us at Bean's.

^ That's the way AJ, Jamie, and I dropped the trany when we did Jamie's flywheel.

Hey with recent practice we should be able to avoid the issues we had on beans. Oh and take off the clutch slave cylinder before you try to remove the tranny. It won't work the other way. By the way who let the engineer read the manual?

Well, the electronics guy couldn't read, so someone had to do it.
